Riga’s administrative divisions consist of six administrative entities Central, Kurzeme and Northern Districts and the Latgale, Vidzeme and Zemgale Suburbs. Three entities were established on 1 September 1941, and the other three were established in October 1969.There are no official lower level administrative units, but the Riga City Council Development Agency is working on a plan, which officially makes Riga consist of 58 neighbourhoods.The current names were confirmed on 28 December 1990.

With 693,064 inhabitants.Riga is the largest city of the Baltic states and home to more than one third of Latvia’s population.The city lies on the Gulf of Riga, at the mouth of the Daugava. Riga’s territory covers 307.17 km2 (118.60 sq mi) and lies between 1 and 10 metres (3.3 and 32.8 ft) above sea level, on a flat and sandy plain.

Grenen is a long sandbar at Skagen Odde (the headland of Jutland), north of the town of Skagen. Grenen is often considered the northmost landarea of Denmark proper (excluding the Faroe Islands and Greenland), but the northmost point is actually located 2,5 km northwest of Grenen on the beach of Nordstrand and is 700 m further north to be precise.
The Skagen area suffered from severe problems with sand drift up through the 18th century and in 1795 the sand covered old church had to be abandoned. It was a brick church of considerable size dedicated to Saint Lawrence which dated from the beginning of the 15th century and located 2 km south-west of the town centre.
Skagens Museum is an art museum in Skagen, Denmark, which exhibits an extensive collection of works by members of the colony of Skagen Painters who lived and worked in the area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Important artists include Maria and P. S.
In 1560 Frederick II of Denmark ordered the erection of Vippefyr at Skagen, Anholt and Kullen Lighthouse to mark the main route through Danish waters from the North Sea to the Baltic. The current vippefyr at Skagen is a reproduction of the original, which dates back to 1626, preceding Frederick's decree.
Drachmann's House ( Danish: Drachmanns Hus), also known as Villa Pax, is one of the major houses of Skagen, northern Denmark. Located on Hans Baghs Vej towards the western side of the town, it was built in 1829 and is now a museum.
Skagen Lighthouse ( Danish: Skagen Fyr), also known as Skagen's Grey Lighthouse ( Det Grå Fyr), is a lighthouse 4 km (2.5 mi) northeast of Skagen in the far north of Jutland, Denmark. Designed by architect Niels Sigfred Nebelong, it was brought into operation on 1 November 1858.
Skagen Bunker Museum is a private museum near the tip of Grenen in the far north of Jutland, Denmark. It is located in an old German bunker of the Regelbau 638 type which was used during the Second World War as an infirmary for treating wounded soldiers.
The Skagen Odde Nature Centre ( Danish: Skagen Odde Naturcenter), on the northern tip of Denmark's Jutland, is a museum devoted to the effects of sand, water, wind and light. It was designed in 1989 by Jørn Utzon, the celebrated architect behind the Sydney Opera House.
