Vladivostok, Russia Overview
Vladivostok is a city and the administrative center of Primorsky Krai, Russia, located at the head of the Golden Horn Bay, not far from Russia’s borders with China and North Korea. The population of the city, according to the 2010 Census, is 592,034, down from 594,701 recorded in the 2002 Census. The city is the home port of the Russian Pacific Fleet and the largest Russian port on the Pacific Ocean.
The city is located in the southern extremity of Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula, which is about 30 kilometers (19 mi) long and approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) wide. he highest point is Mount Kholodilnik, the height of which is 257 meters (843 ft). Eagle’s Nest Hill is often called the highest point of the city; however, with the height of only 199 meters (653 ft), or 214 meters (702 ft) according to other sources, it is the highest point of the downtown area, but not of the whole city.

The Russky Bridge ( Russian: Русский мост - Russian Bridge) is a bridge built across the Eastern Bosphorus strait, to serve the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation that took place in Vladivostok in 2012. The bridge connects the mainland part of the city (Nazimov peninsula) with Russky Island, where the main activities of the summit took place.

Testing the Camileo SX500 walking around downtown Vladivostok. Starting in Central Square (Fighters for the Soviet Power Square) and walking a bit upwards through Svetlanskaya street. I just walked around a bit and recorded it to test the camera. The camera had a sensor defect and was later replaced by Toshiba with no cost.
